昔の推理小説にはしばしば「フールスキャップ版の紙」がどうこうという文が出てきたが、それがどういう大きさのものか、今の時代は簡単に調べられて便利だ。
道化師帽をかぶった人間は、何だか悪魔に似ている。映画でピエロが怪物的な存在として描かれるのは、そこに遠因がありそうだ。
