この前、何となく、昔のヒットポップスである「コングラチュレーション」の一節が頭に思い浮かび、あれほど歌詞と曲がうまくマッチしたポップスも珍しいな、と考えたのだが、もちろん歌詞を全部覚えているわけはない。
で、今は便利なもので、ネットで調べると、同題名の日本人歌手の曲がいくつかあって、ずっと探すとクリフ・リチャードのそれが見つかった。もちろん、探していたのはそれだ。
嬉しいので、下に転記し、容量的に可能なら拙訳もつけておく。実に能天気な歌詞だが、ポップスというのはこういう向日性というのも大きな長所なのである。
