森高千里の最大の成功作である、ビールのCM曲「気分爽快」の歌詞の英訳である。もちろん、ネットで拾ったものだが、実は失恋の歌である。私も英訳を見て初めて知った。いい歌詞である。
ネットに「気分爽快」の動画もあるので視聴をお勧めする。
ついでに言えば、英訳の最初の文は「やったね」の英訳である。自分がひそかに恋していた男と自分の親友が恋仲になり、明日デートをすることを聞いて、友人を祝福する言葉だ。
