アンネ・フランクの日記の中に性的なジョークが書かれていた（消されていたのが復元された）とかいう記事があったので、英語原文を斜め読みすると、騒ぐほどのジョークでもない。まあ、中世の劇や小説などにいくらでも出てくる類のジョークで、現代の新聞の一コマ漫画にもありそうなものだ。（これを一コマで描くのは難しいだろうができなくもない）
私は、「ハンス・カルベルの指輪」くらい下品なものかと思ったが、可愛いものである。
